Paul, I keep waiting for you to put a hardhat on that mechanic (below) in all your pictures. LOL

What is the stand material you are using for your figures? It looks like it might be clear sheet styrene (if so, what thickness works best - it looks like the edges might be curling some so it really must be thin stock)? I really like that idea.

Paul, just sharing my tip for figures:

I mix a drop of epoxy (size of a penny or so) in which I dip the feet of the figure. Then I leave it standing in the back of a plastic cover (like ice cream, margarine or so). You want to use a flexible and glossy pot cover, so you just need to bend it to remove it.

Epoxy remains clear and makes for a smaller and more realistic stand.

I don't take the chance, hence the plastic base.

I gotta admit, after seeing the Cranes Etc review of the Whytes 1500 I was very impressed. It's an unusual colour combination and works well on the crane. Nice pics as always!

How many Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 are now in the Paul E Rose Collection?

I love the detail of the Riga Mainz logo on the cab seat back, that's a nice touch.

Did the model come with any certificate describing the 500th LTM 500 delivery?

Sadly it did not. I was hoping that maybe something different/special would be done such as a different box (like the Bok Seng or Chi Deh boxes) and even a certificate. But nothing.

The pictures I've seen of the Riga Mainz LTM 1500-8.1 show red CW's on the real machine. But it does seem that other cranes in their fleet use black ones.
