This thread now over 10yrs old! Where did the time go?

Thanks for all the comments and such over that time.

I think there is still a few of us left here that remember they days from the late nineties? Think I have been a member for around 20 years but due to a forum re-vamp I think everyone had to create a new profile and then I had another issue after that where I had to join again in 2007.

But it has been a great ride so far and there has been an awful lot of changes in the industry in that timeframe. What will the next 10yrs bring? At least we know there will be a LTM 1750-9.1 and AC700 later this year Smile

Indeed, time certainly does fly-by.I am really looking forward to the AC700,have wanted one in 1/50,for ages, and ages.It is an IMC model,as well.So it already ticks all the boxes, for me,in details alone. The only thing is having to get all the support trucks,it all adds up to an expensive package!

Paul, thanks for your commitment. I love seeing your posts. Yes, 10 years has flown by quickly. I'm excited about the AC700 and the LTM1750. What great news! Although, there should be threads 20 pages long about each, like the good old days.
Kindest regards,
Dave

If only but those days have sadly gone now.

Love that Duncan plant fleet. The JCB is very nice.Would like to see the Volvo R100e,on the back of a truck. Is it possible to remove any parts, for transport?

Not very easily! The rear wheels come off and can be split into individual wheels but you cannot separate the hubs. Front wheels seem very hard to take off and I didn't try too hard for fear of breaking it. Walkway around the left side of the cab is cast as one piece so also cannot be removed for transport.

Thomas Herron Scania 6x4 with Nooteboom Euro Lowloader 2+4:

This model harks back from 2009 when it was released by Premium Collectable Models. Unfortunately Stephen Maguire passed away a few years ago but not before producing some great commissions such as this one. His son Jack Maguire took over the business and now trades under Maguires Models, with the most recent release being the MA Ponsonby Scania I posted earlier.

I did have this model when it came out but sold it a few years ago. I decided that was a mistake and bought this one recently:
