Guy the Yumbo excavator looks great, I take it that is resin cast. It has some very nice detail. Steve

Steve, The Yumbo model produced by Wespe is 100% in resin: https://www.wespemodels.com/civilian_models/civilian_models_scale_1_50/civ_scale_1_50_yumbo/yumbo_civ_50008The one presented above was built by Jean-Francois with little mods but I know that he was not 100% happy with it. He has therefore started since a second one, more widely modified/upgraded: Difficult on this one to state definitively who is responsible for details. I hope it helps. Guy

Volkner Mobil is a German vehicle body shop producing in very limited series luxury motor homes, equipped with an on-board garage for a (luxury) car: http://www.volkner-mobil.com/They had in 2017 a 1/50 model(*) of their flagship made by Siku, the well-known German toy producer: Volkner Mobil Performance II motor home built on a Mercedes-Benz 4x2/2 base (modified Siku model) and Wiesmann MF5 Roadster 4x2/2 coupe (Siku model) Note (*): Siku reproduced on this model - that was extremely well captured, if I may say so - the wall-out ("opening cupboard") function on the left side of the truck, allowing for on-board living extra surface and the integrated garage with its sliding bed (opening to the right side). Pity that the car delivered with the motor home is a standard 1/55 scale Siku product and that they didn't produce a 1/50 version of it. Regards. Guy

I have already posted in this topic pictures from another member of Azur Modelisme - Gege - who collects 1/50 models of trucks he drove in the past. A few other of his models generally realized or built for him by MiniCams: Regards. Guy

Jean-Jacques' free personal interpretation of a 1960s convoy, which picture was found on a local governmental body website: The following combination was certainly having poor speed records in the narrow and winding roads of Nice's inland mountainous region: Regards. Guy

Back to the States with an equipment very seldom seen on this side of the Pond, where concrete transfer operations rely mainly on pumping units with multi-extensions distribution arms: Putzmeister Telebelt TB 105 telescopic belt conveyor fitted on an International Paystar 5600 8x4/2 truck (Conrad model) To be continued. The Putzmeister telescopic belt conveyor fed by something which is another unknown item for us Europeans, the Mc Neilus FDM 11 concrete drum on an Oshkosh S57-1879 14x6/10 truck, with unloading over its front cab (TWH model): Regards. Guy

Interesting combo Guy, they used the same setup when pouring the floor of my new manufacturing plant. First for me, in spite of my entire life here in the US. It worked quite well, the floor was poured after the walls and roof were in place leaving little headroom for an articulated concrete pump. And yes, the front-discharge mixers are about all we have in my area. I gotta believe it's easier for the driver!
Thanks for the photos.
