Note (*): I doubt that Liebherr ever sold any of their "European-type" mixing drum in the States, where the market is dominated by local producers (at 2017 Conexpo, they displayed no mixing drum but one of their concrete pump instead, indicating where their interest could be).

Pictures are far from being excellent, sorry, but I hope that they will explain the pick-up 5th wheel arrangement..
HiMoBo have added to the pick-up a removable plastic structure which fits over its rear axle: it has a small "finger" (hardly visible here) which goes into a hole of the trailer gooseneck:





As simple as that!

The only place where I could find that equipment trailer was Fritzes Modellbörse in Germany, either solo or paired with the pick-up. I suspect that they were produced exclusively by HiMoBo for them and I didn't check if it was ever made available in the States or somewhere else.
Unfortunately, there are not for sale anymore there: https://fmb-shop.de/shop/de/search?sSearch=Himobo but as often, I suppose that more batches will be made available later. So may I recommend to visit regularly their website and check for availability.

Mammoet heavy haulage operation in South Africa.
The South African subsidiary of the famous Dutch craneage and transport company is one of the few worldwide to use Nicolas modular trailers, inherited from Frasers, a local heavy haulage company incorporated years ago. The mighty Frasers MAN 48700 8x8 tow trucks have since been replaced by newer 8x8 Titans, 4160s and 4161s road size units or 4860s equipped with wide cross-country tires.







Titan SF Actros 4860 SLT 8x8/4 ballasted tow truck (WSI model) and Nicolas R9-T180 9-line modular trailer (modified Corgi model) carrying a 94.54 tonnes Elin ???MVA-230/108.8kV transformer (WSI load).

Demag PR25(*) rotary drilling unit on 4x2/0 chassis (modified Gescha model) and its Demag-Pokorny SC5 DS 1-axle support air compressor (modified NZG model)







Note (*): so far, I was only able to find the tracked version of this drilling unit, named Demag CR25 (with a "C" for crawler). I am therefore looking for any information on this wheeled version produced by Gescha in the seventies and referred to by me as a PR25 (with a "P" for pneumatic) in terms of correct name, weight, capacity, etc.
