yeah I have only put a set on my Bracht 112 not yet the mammoet version,I had a small valve block come off fairly easily but I know now the level of ham-fistedness you can get away with so no more issues,i must get a set to try the new spanner,the old spanner you could break by giving it a good hard look,very flimsy but the cylinders are very crisply made,i had 50% of my 2.8KG loco hanginf from them for hours and they seemed to hold,although not at a severe angle,I also had the heavy head on and the top sections removed to lighten her up

Nice pics paul, its hard to believe that this time last year we were all anticipating getting our hands on the mammoet 112.. Now less than a year on it seems like this version was released ages and ages ago with all the liveries that have come out since then! 8 or 9 versions in less than 12 months is incredible.

oh i understand now, i thought these holes were drilled the same way the holes are drilled on the side of the boom like the LTM 1800, thanks for the link.

Finally got 'er out the box today:































It certainly a great looking 112 but not convinced it is my favourite out of them all.

And here is a little tip for you. If the TY cable is a little tight when spooling it out, try this:

1. Carefully remove the 2 screws that hold on the cover.



2. Take out the spool, but be careful of the spring!



3. File down the little nub a little. I actually filed mine down all the way but not sure this is advisable for everyone.



4. Put back together and it should now be a lot easier when spooling in or out the cable, but will still lock into position.

nice pictures Paul, i have my Mediaco and Eisele 112s being shipped from Germany as im typing this, i will be building a better table for my models this weekend hopefully that is in a better spot with better lighting and get my models setup better, will try and take some pictures.

for some reason i can never get the heavy lift heads to fit on my cranes properly so i just put the windmill jib on all of them
