Guy that is just an incredible custom by Jean-Francois, that is what I picture when they say truck crane. A couple of demo companies still have some of those in our area. Tell him great job.

Two generations of gasoline road transport in the States produced by Corgi:   On the left, in the 70s/80s: Kenworth W925 6x4/2 tractor and its unknown brand(*) car gas tank 2-axle semi-trailer, On the right, in the 50s/60s: Mack LJT 1D 4x2/2 tractor and Fruehauf-US aviation fuel tank 1-axle semi-trailer. Note (*): any info on the real semi-trailer is welcome. To be continued. Guy

In Germany, delivery to a local airport of a plane tow vehicle:    DAF FX 105-T510 6x2/4 tractor and its Broshuis 3 AOU-16-40 3-axle extendable low bed semi-trailer (WSI models) loaded with a 16 tonnes Goldhofer AST-2 P/X 4x2/2 towing plane tractor of 352 tonnes capacity (Conrad model)  Regards. Steve Steve, I'm not sure about its precise production year but Corgi produced that Mack LJ in various 4x2 tractors and 6x4 trucks liveries, let's say early 2000. I hope this helps. Guy

Guy the ten wheel tanker is very nice. On the Berliet tractor why do they put the roof racks on them, I’m guessing this is a stupid question, but we can’t let The Q ask all of them.

That's the kind of stuff which could be seen (mainly in Northern Europe, I must admit) in those days, where things like tarpaulin or metal trunks would be stored, as there was nearly no storage place in those day-cab trucks. Two examples below with a Norwegian 8x2 N-cabbed Volvo and the French "Gazelle" 6x6 truck working as a support vehicle for the famous Berliet T100:   I hope this helps. Guy

Two Ford Cargo trucks(*) produced by NZG in the 80s:   On the left: Ford Cargo 1620 4x2/2 carrier with Hall box (modified NZG model), On the right: Ford Cargo 2838 4x2/2 tractor (modified NZG model) and Hobur 3-axle tank semi-trailer (modified Tekno model). Note (*): It seems that NZG have produced a different cab arrangement on both models as carrier mud guards are protruding more from the cab than on the other version. To be continued. Guy
