I only mean 'fixed straight' as having no steering. If the newer axles/frames have the same functionality as Tekno,I assume they are still poseable.Unless the Hartsmith original had fixed axles, and just the wheels were replaced.

modelmaniac,
Front axles are "fixed straight" and not steerable (I learnt something today!). Tekno spoke wheels are simply fixed on each end of metal bars going through chassis suspension openings, present on the original Hartsmith kit. I only slightly reduced openings size, as Hartsmith axles are fitted with larger bars.
I hope this helps. Guy

It's still one of (in my opinion),the best looking trucks,of that era.Loved seeing Pegaso trucks on the road, usually pulling a Spanish fruit/food trailer.Would love to see a Pegaso 1/50 '8 wheel' tipper. The wheels look perfect on that truck.

Regards. Guy Hi Guy, I like the Conrad Hägglunds BV206 you have pictured. To my knowledge Conrad did three versions of these in the early 90's, one with a Ericsson Giraffe radar, one with a Ericsson Arthur anti-artillery radar as you have pictured, and one with a roof rack which I have pictured from my collection. These are odd and rather very very hard to find Conrad models but still fit in fine with other 1/50 models as you have shown.

Cat345bl, Nice pictures. Many thanks for sharing your Hägglunds version with us: I knew about the Saab Giraffe version produced by Conrad but I didn't remember that one. 2 other pictures of my model "disembarked" from the Pegaso, with its Ericsson ARTillery HUnting Radar unit in position on top of the control room module: Regards. Guy I have one of those Tamrock drills, how did you modify yours? One of my cats did a little remodeling job on mine, it must have went after the bucket that was posed in the air and knocked it right off the shelf and destroyed the bucket and arm. Steve

Hello Guy,
I'm absolutely enthusiastic about the MiniCam Renault/Berliet 4x4 in RAZEL-livery. Very beautiful trucks and models, so I have to search for more from MiniCam. I visited Cameroon last winter and saw a lot of RAZEL machinery. And impressive Renault CBHs logging trucks. Also KERAX with MACK engines. Would love to build them in 1/87.
Cheers
Max
