Just got around to adding my latest custom painted Bucyrus 495 Shovel to the mining display case. It a 495 HR done in the old Peabody color scheme.

Looks nice Art! What other models do you have in Peabody colors? I'd love to see a group shot! Wink

Nice, I saw it peeking from up on the shelf in one of the photos. Now all you need is a nice belly-dump truck for them to load!Smile

Excellent post Art, what a striking color scheme. Speaking of your Peabody 994F, it appears that you have a number of liveried 994F's, any chance we could see some of those please? Smile

Rowan.

Nice work, do you intend to paint a 495 in the original BE blood and custard colours? Or has that been done already?

One has been done with the old BE colors. Here's my Suncor before it went in the display case.

Nice 994!

So you have a 495 in the old BE colors and the newer standard BE colors used for the model. Now how about the newest color scheme before the Cat purchase?

Also going to need one in Cat yellow. Wink

Way ahead of you on that one Alex. Two others before that one goes to the paint shop.

I Have "12 " 495's , 3 of them are a "working in progress". I hear we will have our P&H 4100 XPC's very soon. A 4100 XPC in the new Peabody colors is a must have !

That is one of the best customs I've ever seen. What a great combination of old and new. Absolutely love that!
