Any thoughts on possible new model releases at Bauma? Wondering if we will see anything from Manitowoc? MLC650 or MLC300??

I think if we were to see any new manitowoc models, they will wait til March at conexpo, as it's basically home field for them. But I doubt we will see anything. Seems manitowoc doesn't care about their model program

Saw a picture a while back of someone from Australia holding a certificate saying he had won a model of either a 650 or a 300, dont remember what one.

That is a quite an old rumour. It first appeared when the 2013 Bauma was going on but we got an LTM1500 instead. Then it said to be the 2014 and 2015 toyfair and now Bauma 2016. If that crane is going to come, I would rather see it from NZG just because they have part of the LTM1750 all ready on design. They all ready did the LTM11200 and just need to change part of the chassie and put a boom on it.

Just to add my rumours I have heard:
Smaller LTM crane
LR11000
Grove GMK6300L

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

Interesting reading!

Some are close, some are way off the mark! Seems some rumours haven't even surfaced yet.

Not long to wait now Wink

I agree about it being an old rumor, however I heard yesterday from a good inside source about it, not some random dude on the street. I do hope NZG does it and it's the same solid quality of the 11200s.

I'm not sure if this will be an official Bauma announcement but a UK model website is advertising a "Mammoet SPMT Converter Exchange Project" due in July 2016.

It's SPMTs with those block sections they use as supports and the Convertor itself.

There was no indication who the maker is but it has £1000 price tag.......

I would be ok with anything in HO scale. I know the Hyuandi models are to be there from IMC but I have no way to get them from there. Any one want to get them for me LOL

For those saying there may be some new Manitowocs and/or Groves, who would be producing them? Has WSI taken over TWH's models like they have with Sword?

Ros will be producing one Grove model. Another European model manufacturer is rumoured to have a new Grove crane. Two rumoured Manitowoc cranes may be produced direct from a Chinese model factory
