the boom stickers, aren't they a little bit too small?

Yes,You are right. They could be a little bigger.I also forgot to order the decal for the backside of the cab. However,I can live with that.
All in all,I have to say the model looks better than I imagined when I started the whole project.

Janh, that's really nice! Thanks for sharing!

How did you modify the boom cylinder? I cutted those on my ZX450 but the boom doesn't want to stay up anymore...

I took a pincer (hope I translated it correctly) and then pressed the cut end of cylinder. So it will widen a bit.And then it will still hold the boom.

Wow! Janh, that is one of the bes customs I've seen. The castings are very clean, the paint markings are very crisp. Norscot should take some cues from you.

The bucket, the qc and the cab guard are made from resin. They belong to my own product range.

Sorry, but there will be no more than this single one.

First I really doubt anyone would be willing to pay for all the work.I mean this is the result of about 150 hours. So everybody can easily figure out how much it would cost if I had to calculate a price.

Second I don´t have a permition for selling this. Not from Norscot for the parts that I copied from their models nor from CAT for using their brand for this.

But when Norscot would knock on my door and say they need it for a serial production I wouldn´t say no. Teeth

And third making more than the one would be just a remake.I mean, for me the challenge and the fun is building it and seeing it turn from the drawings and photos into the model. As soon as it is finished the thrill is over for me.Though I´m not saying I´m not proud to have it in my collection.

Now it´s time to have a new challenge.I yet do have some ideas for new projects.

But at least the qc and the bucket may be available for everyone soon, together with some other new attachments. These will also fit on the Hitachi and JD models then.
