Well, so much for the LR. It appears it is an LG-1550. I think. After all, I think we all know what these things are. Right?Wink

I'll hold up anymore pics until the entire "puzzle" is assembled, although i think this puzzle piece was a dead giveaway.

Ok I was back working again but intown this time. I just had to up to see the 650 and the 1550. So after a maze of roads I finally made it up to the site.

Well I parked at Ikea and walked alittle ways and right in front of me is the Ac650. What an awesome machine.

Right next to the Ac650 is a American crane I coold not see the model number. There was a lot more but the area is kind of hard to navigate, a lot of traffic and toll roads I did not want to get stuck on.

Ok now for the big gun on site the LG1550. I have to say sorry Brandon it is not blue and white anymore. Looks like a brand new crane.
They have it set up in a very difficult spot for picture taking but I managed to get a few drive bys of the crane. They were setting it up and testing the engine when I was there. What a sound pure power.

Here is picture from a distance of the whole crane

They als had a luffer for the AC650 on an offsite staging area. I think I will have to take the wife to Ikea so she can look around and I can go crane hunting again.

Shawn I think you can change the title of the thread nowTeeth I wish I lived as close as you do to this site I would be over here all the timed'oh!
Hope you enjoyed as much as I did what a dayand it started off better to as I will post in another thread

The American crane is a 9310 or 9320. Im pushing more toward the 9310. Even tho the door at the cab does not look like a 9310. Think

Though it is missing the tell tale 900 series cab door, the stance and counterweights make me concurr with a 9310 identification. The 9320 weights I believe are a bit taller by about a foot. House cleaning calls to find the old American literature I have or I'll have to make the planned trip to Philadelphia area abd confirm with another American historian.

On the reeving of the super lift attachment, since the length of the distance is determined by the extenson of the boom, it needs to change cable lengths for the various boom lengths. An appropriate tension is then set for the set boom length.

They are doing a lot of pilings for over passes down this way at 161 and I30 and 161 and I-20 I am hoping they will need some big cranes fr a few of the lifts.. Fingers crossed stil have a few months of concrete pouring to go.
Keep the pics coming Shawn

Well I stopped by today when in the area, they were supposed to be lifting the big beams

LG1550

I did not have much time to wait for a lift but I will take what time I had on site
The clouds were killing the good pictures today, but not all that bad
