Took off the original roof guard. replace it with the one i have

Which one looks better? (before I glue it on)

My Vote goes for the all brass screens, seem to match better, and for a grinder, would probably be plenty sufficient for cab protection.

Not to further hijack your thread, but I took your idea of fitting to CCM models, and ran with it, Here's my track on a CCM Cat 245, with the stock track on the other side. minus (2) links per side. in real life this would be better for a machine carrying a shear, since rarely do they need the flotation of a wide track. and often times you use the tracks to flatten plate for shearing, which is hell on wide tracks.

I personally like the black one on top, works out well with the yellow front screen, flows better

Looking great guys, I got my buckets from Gift Models Yesterday. Ordered them monday and had them here in the US on thrusday. Great service, now for some paint and and attachment this weekend.

That 390 sure does look mean with that ripper and guard on. Those Gift Models attachments look excellent. Do you plan on painting the front brass guard black?
