We're still in the US with a "STAA Double", combination defined as legal in the 1982 Surface Transportation Administration Act on the entire US road network: Peterbilt 579 4x2/2 tractor and Wabash DuraPlate 28 1-axle box semi-trailer + Wabash 1-axle dolly and Wabash DuraPlate 28 1-axle box semi-trailer (Diecast Masters models), Regards. Pretty rare in Jean-Jacques' 1/50 collection, 3 military vehicles, produced by Solido. All these tanks were involved in various Second World War battles. From top to bottom, a Somua S35 French tank, the American Sherman M 4A3 and a German PzKpfw IV Ausf E: Regards. Guy

One of the last truck kit ever produced by Minitrucks, the FIAT tractor unit, built by Jean-Jacques (at front) and by Jean-Francois (at rear) in the manufacturer's original Coulier livery (Belgium): As a bonus, the Minitrucks bulk tank semi-trailer kit, built by Jean-Jacques as per manufacturer's instructions (front) and upgraded by Jean-Francois to his usual modeling standards (rear): Regards. In their Heritage series - dedicated to vintage French haulage and circus - Corgi have produced various Berliet trucks, all named GLRs, whatever was their architecture. Two such vehicles produced by Corgi in a 1/50 scale(*): Both models completed: - at front: Berliet TLR 10B 4x2/2 tractor and Titan France 1-axle flatbed semi-trailer (modified Corgi models) loaded with 46 Champagne wine barrels (modified Corgi load), - at rear: Berliet TLM 10B 4x2/2 tractor (modified Corgi model) and 2-line rear dolly made from an ex-US Army Rogers M9 tank transport trailer rear part (Corgi model) carrying an approx. 30 tonnes SAFI autoclave drier used to treat wooden electrical poles (modified Corgi load), Note (*): pictures issued from the French "Autoboite" website: http://www.autoboite.fr/index.htmTo be continued.
