Hi Steven, really appreciate all of the model reviews that you have been doing lately. Just a quick question, any time frame on when you might have the review on the Cat 740B posted? Thanks!!

And people was complaining about the Tonkin 988K loader with it's small issues. After seeing that review, things could be a lot worse.

Tried to get on New Topic and couldn't do it so I'm using this to get my topic posted. As a retired Operating Engineer in Northeast Ohio I have a collection of 1/50 scale models. I am looking to customize some of them. I'm trying to find a supplier for small gauge ferrules as connections for hydraulic lines. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks I know Micro Mark has an assortment of metal stuff the has aluminum, copper and brass tubes that can be cut for the ferrules. Check this and see what you can get. I have used the small aluminum tube for the ferrules before as well as the brass tubes, it also has solid brass rod pieces which I have used as pins. Hope this helps and also the small aluminum and brass tubes can be cut either with a hobby knife (rolling it back and forth till it breaks on the scored mark) or with a jeweler's saw. I use a knife on the aluminum tube because it cuts quicker.
Dain I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!! Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!
