Great pictures! Thanks a lot! How is the 18000 going to be lifted out? Is the 14000 going to be replaced? Kerst http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1096251

Love these photos! Can only see the empty platform where the 14000 was now. I have a chance to visit NY this weekend, not sure if I am going yet but if I do I will be stopping by the site. My Photostream

I must say, those Supor rigs that I've seen lately are some of my favorite yet. They remind me of the Digging & Rigging guys and how the machines/trucks are always in showroom condition. Says a lot about a company from my perspective! Nice shots!

I've enjoyed this tread since its beginning. Supor's staff does keep their trucks looking nice and the specifications are generally as impressive as the appearance. Peterbilt #35 is a strong and heavily spec'd tractor and I believe along the lines of Frank Conforti's big Pete or the newest at Malbros. The aluminum deck work on it is done in Supor's own shops.

kerst- My guess is they are bringing back a linkbelt crawler like they did to assemble it in the pit, right where the 14000 sat. The only problem I can see is that the rest of the bathtub is concrete higher than the 18000's pad - and no way that Lomma's link-belt crawlers can lift the body, tracks, etc. at that radius. The 14000 lifted down the rotating bed and tracks while the linkbelt lifted all other parts. Where the 14000 sat, he lowered the 18000 tracks then body and then assembled it right where he lifted it down and then the 18000 crawled to the linkbelt.
