Here are some new photo's with the jib in a different position. It looks better this way. With luffing jib... And without... If anyone has some remarks about this, or suggestions to improve, just post them here. BTW, anyone know what kind of ballast trailer would be good? I'm thinking about a Zon models 4 axle or 5 axle Nooteboom. Remko

Cool pics. One question though, how do you turn the drum on the crane. Thanks

Also, went on KSM's website, but I can't find the trailer. I know that make the model w/ trailer, but I want just the trailer, as I want to keep the shipping down, since I'm here in the US. Thanks

Thanks Jason, thats one question answered, one to go. And if anyone knows, how much would shipping/customs etc, be for either just the trailer, or the crane/trailer combo they sell. Just wondering. Thanks

This by far was the best pic post all week. Thank you, that was a very well informed, perfect pic angles, and answered all my questions. This model have skippid a few spots up on my "must have or else" model list. Thanks again. You wouldn't have the LTM 1300 for a comparison?

Just like thew new Faun ATF 160 from Conrad. Sorry, no LTM 1300. This is my biggest Liebherr crane (besides the LR 1280). My other Liebherr cranes are the LTM 1070-4.1, LTC 1055-3.1 (converted to telecrawler) and LTM 1030/2. The only bigger crane I have is the Demag AC 500-1 SL.

I finally got a new ballasttrailer yesterday, a Nooteboom 5-axle. I also got a new Liebherr crane model (LTM 1090, but that's a whole other post! ). Anyway, the crane is now (almost, just need a new container) fully equipped with the ballasttransporter. The bulk of it goes on the 5-axle Nooteboom, while 22 metric tonnes goes on the crane (12 metric tonnes) and on the 3-axle Hilse tag-trailer (2x 10 metric tonnes). Before anyone is going to say that the crane is already heavy enough, take a look at this: Mammoet Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 @ Cranes Etc.Pulling power for the Nooteboom trailer is the beautiful Volvo FH 16 660 HP 6x4 from WSI. There's some room left behind the rear of the tractor and the sparewheel holder on the trailer, so I might add a small toolbox or something there.

Well, i'm the friend who got the nice container. It was bought by Remco for me to complete my assistence-truck for my own LTM1200 5.1. Here are some pictures of the result: The crane and truck together: The backside of the trailer, loaded with a VW-car, outrigger plates, 2 jib parts, complete contraweights and the little materialcontainer: The frontside of the truck and trailer: Back on the road again : Enjoy the pics, Jorn >> Caterpillar <> Liebherr <> Volvo <> Nooteboom <<

No problem at all Steve! I always like the LTM 1300 myself. Just never gotten around in getting one. Hopefully there will be a modern variant of the LTM 1300 (or even a LTM 1400-7.1) available soon.

Hi Remko,
That would be great if someone brought out a LTM1400-7.1 or even the LTM1500. have also seen on cranes etc. web site that, Hans Warner website has confirmed that a model of the Liebherr LTM11200-9.1 Mobile Crane is scheduled to appear at the Intermat Exhibition in April 2009. I wonder who is going to make that?
Steve.
