Jason What exactly broke on the 1750? Pendant line? Pin connection point? The crane seems to be pretty sturdy - I've got extra sections in the boom and jib and a slight weight (couple of pounds at the most) to keep the jib hook under tension. Nevertheless, I'm always relieved to still see it in one piece when I come back from work each evening...

Which will have to be stripped, primed, super glued then painted again... however this time around i'm thinking about painting a couple sectiosn blue.. having it like oilers but blue/white?

Sorry to hear about your crane. Just curious are the boom sections hand built out of brass like the 18000? If so do what ever you can to fix your messed up sections then add them to the finished crane. Just think how tall that bad boy will be then.
