thanks for all your comments! Time sure does fly, I've had these prototypes in hand for almost 6 months now, but buying a house hindered my ability to go into production right away.

Eric,

I had to laugh at your signature, it couldn't be more true. If it's a sign of things to come, we're in trouble.

Hi Eric, just wondering, were those shears 3D printed. I've been thinking about prototyping some truck and machine parts for a few months now and would appreciate your help.

Hes already gone over this

Now, to answer the questions that will no doubt flood my inbox:
these will be cast in metal
No, I do not have a final price yet
I intend to have the first pieces ready in mid-march
these will sold as finished models only, and will be painted, assembled and decaled,

You gotta remember, just because he has masters doesnt mean he has a price. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done. This includes creating molds, and having those molds casted with metal.

Eric,

Just so I understand, you are saying that you will only sell shears attached already to a scale model excavator? In other words, we couldn't purchase the shears only, you would have to buy them already attached, painted and decaled to a scale model excavator? If that is the case, would it be possible, if a person already had an existing excavator in their collection and wanted to convert that machine to an excavator with a demo shear attachment, would you still be able to do it?

I think you are missunderstanding Eric. If I have it right He is going to be selling 11 different size shears built, painted and decaled to put on YOUR machine.

what I intend on selling will come out of the box looking like this:
painted, assembled, and ready to mount on your excavator. (minus the weathering)

If you're not wanting to answer my question, Eric, at least please tell me. Maybe someone else could help me?

Thanks,
