Bobm2004 wrote:So what should I do next? Come on man, you know your up to it......I have a alternate motive as well, going to keep a close eye on how you get on with it and if it is not to hard going to think about a LTM1800 in Ainscough, the LTM1300 is looking good and i suspect will be finished soon enough so i'll need another good 'project'. I've got a interesting idea. Step 1: Buy 4 TWH Oshkosh HET M1070 Truck w/M1000 Trailer - Tan Step 2: Repaint all 4 in Mammoet Step 3: Get the M1000 trailers from all four, link em together and attached two TWH Oshkosh HET M1070 Truck-Tan at the back and two TWH Oshkosh HET M1070 Truck - Tan at the front. Step 4: Create a custom heavy load IT'S JUST THAT EASY, FOLKS

Now that is a cute little fork lift! I love it. I have been looking for a companion for the littlest lifter in the fleet: Now I appreciate your enthusiasm Mammoetman, but if I used SPMT I would not those big ol trucks as a SPMT is self propelled with its own motor and transmission-just to be technical. THat said if they need four of those prime movers, it would one heck of a load!!

What a great looking truck Bob, I was wondering how long take you to take a part the whole truck? also to put it back on? Im afraid to even pull apart a simple KW from Norscot,. also how you do to take the little tiny parts like winshield wipers and rear view mirrors with out breaking them. Thanks and keep on the good work

Elgrinch-this repaint took me about 20 hours start to finish. Taking a model apart requires a lot of staring and trying to see where it can come apart. Then gentle wiggling, sharp blows with a hammer, back cutting and yes sometimes just plain old breaking it. But that is what epoxy is for. And I think that wheel barrow is a dirt model-would not fit in with the fleet!!!
