Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Speaking to Tommy earlier and he was saying the photo's do not do the machine justice, remember people the PC9600 has a larger nominal capacity than a PTC.....before the CC8800-twin this was the largest crane Demag made, and its a 1 off......came into service in 1990 as the flagship for Graystone White and sparrows when they one of the largest crane hire buisnes's in the UK....Demag never made another. Another little known fact about this crane is while on its very first job way back 20 years ago it was left over night in very strong winds with the boom in the air and the pennant lines failed on the back mast causing the crane to collapse! It was obviously repaired but goes to show how much you have to respect the wind in our game. Gaz

The PC9600 was the second biggest crane Demag did before the CC8800-twin. Gaz

I'm waiting on Tommy, he's about as computer literate as a house brick and explaining these things to him is like explaining to your grandad that gay no longer means 'happy'!!!! The pics i've posted so far he's sent me on his phone, he does however have loads he's taken on a camera that when he gets some time will email to me too post. And yup, i have 'lost it'.....been a tough year, only yesterday i was talking to Gerald, a freinds venus fly trap.....so yes I talk to flowers. Gaz

Is not the CC12600 still available as the CC9600 of CC9800? While the nominal ratings are in the league of those of the CC8800, the line pull exceeds that of the CC8800 and only when the latter is in twin form, does it exceed. While I cannot confirm how many do exist, Mammoet has one which has even been shipped from Euorpe to North America to do work.
