I vote you the most insane person on the forum. Sure we all collect models and some customize, but to build cranes out of lego that are colossal in scale and be very accurate and functional. I bet when you bake cookies they are 5 feet in diameter!!! My hat is off to you!!!

Incredible Alvin! What a great set of pictures. Wish I could be at the Open House to see them myself.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I am very glad that you all can appreciate the amount of time and labor that goes into building a model like this (tho most of you dont know the limitations and constraints of Lego ) I will get some good pictures of it at the open house and post them....It is way more impressive when there are not couches and other sorts of stuff all around it subtracting from the overall appearance... -Alvin.
The beatings will continue until Morale improves......

Wow nice LEGOs Your wife seems VERY Patient sitting there. I've been wondering how I'll be able to walk my dragline into my basement someday without my wife bitching about it. 9W Walking Dragline Build Links:http://www.rctruckandconstruction.com/showthread.php?t=117Scale 4x4 RC Buildhttp://www.youtube.com/user/Scentlessapprentice9?feature=mhee#p/u/9/59FR27c9BwEhttp://imageshack.us/user/caffco

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.
