Can't wait for mine, but I'll have to make room for it (lots of room). I would love for TWH to also do the RH400.

allistairc123, Interesting perspective regarding the O&K RH400 shovel, however, the same can be said for those that have purchased the P&H 4100 from EMD (formerly ATM) and the P&H 4100 XPB from OHS. Randy M. Smolenack RMSmodels@aol.comrandy.m.smolenack@us.army.mil

I understand, frankly I would be happy with RH400, EX8000 or R9800. ChrisPH4100XPC@gmail.com

I would certainly like to have a newer 1:50 version of the RH400 to top off my mining equipment collection! In fact I sold my 1:50 OHS RH400 a few years ago in the hope that a better updated version would be produced by a top quality company such as TWH,First Gear,BYMO,NZG etc.
The OHS version was not very well made and lacked a lot of detail in certain areas. If Bucyrus had acted quickly and commissioned an RH400 in conjunction with TWH,who produce all their other models, then we would have seen one in model form in Bucyrus colours. But CAT prevented that from happening!!
It will be interesting to see if TWH will produce the soon-to-be "ex-Bucyrus"mining trucks, hyd.excavators and blasthole drills.Perhaps we will see a TWH RH400 in CAT colours to replicate the real shovels in the near future!!

Have TWH ever produced a model of an out of production piece before? Would it be so hard for TWH to go ahead and build an O&K RH400 with all of the recent ownership developments? Now that the CCM D9G and 390DLME have been announced, the RH400 is without doubt my number 1 on my wishlist. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator
