SJDownes wrote:Kyowa are a Komatsu dealer so they are familiar with the Komatsu machine range. The model of the PC450LC-8 has been in development for 3 years as KMF wanted to create a museum quality replica. They have nothing to do with the models produced by Universal Hobbies, and their version of the PC450 is mainly metal and has a substantial weight to it. The model is finished in the Japanese specifications and my guess is that, as they are a dealer for Komatsu, they are able to commission and sell Komatsu models.
The only issue with the PC450 is the price, although i am not sure how many models have been produced. If it is a low number, then the price is justified.
Steven Guys, Just a quick up date on the PC450LC-8. I have been in touch with KMF by email as their website is in Japanese only and precludes those of us illiterate in Japanese from ordering on-line. However, Yoko at KMF has been extremely helpful and thankfully her english is very good. I managed to order the model without any grief and even had the convenience of being able to pay through PayPal. As an indication the model including Express Post to Sydney Australia cost A$300, so as Steven mentioned it is not cheap. Thanks, Steven for the great review, and thank you KMF for producing this great model. Cheers, Chris ChrisPH4100XPC@gmail.com

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.
