DeWoc and Jeff, the resin one in the photo is the ABS plastic prototype. After everything gets checked as far as measurements, I will then design the final one and cast it in white metal.
Paul, what do you exactly mean by upper set? (The cheek weights? Yes cheek weights)

Yes these are the ones I mean. As BC said earlier, NZG never made these so it would be great to have some made. I bet you could sell a few over here in Europe too! Paul R

After a month of design changes, I finally got it right. The counterweight fits good. Hopefully by the end of next week I have the one that is set up to get cast. The other good news is, we're almost done with hay, only 2 more farms to go. Can't wait to get back to model making.
