Nice collection paving Remko. I like that siku soil stabilizer. Just a question but if I bought the Fendt soil stabilizer, is the 3pt hitch compatible with another 1/50 tractors made by them, say John Deere for example?

I don't have any other Siku tractors. I do believe they share a common hitch design, so it should fit. Anyway, going on... First a small update to the Hamm roller fleet. Another HD 90 (total of four) and another DV 10 (total of two). Also added another Vögele Super 1900 from Siku to the collection.

The Wirtgen SP 15 slipform pavers. One with the conveyor belt, the other with an auger system. Very nice models, extremely well detailed for their size, as can be expected from NZG. I just noticed today that they also have a milling drum on the bottom. Transport mode. Difference between the lowest and highest possible working mode. Up... ...and down. Bottom showing the milling drum. The Vögele Super 3000-2 paver from Conrad completely built up to maximum width, and with insert hopper.

An asphalt set of course needs a water truck. I will use this Siku BP gas trailer for that purpose. One of the most important machines in road construction. The Hofmann H33-3 Universal Road Marking Machine. Model is from NZG, and is becoming extremely rare and very expensive. In Holland, these machines are often being transported on a special trailer. The trailer itself is pulled by a medium sized standard truck housing equipment and facilities for the crew. For the model I don't have a trailer ready yet, but It will probably look something like this. It's a Tekno trailer. I will need to give it a new (lowered) bed, and of course ramps. And finally one of the most important pieces of equipment on any road construction project. The safety truck! We call it a 'bumpercar' in Holland. I still have to paint these traffic cones... So far my (still growing) collection, with both standard and custom models. I'm thinking of converting a Vögele MT 3000-2i Offset in to a normal Vögele MT 3000-2 feeder. I've already tried taking apart the Offset model, but the way it is built makes it a bigger challenge than I thought to convert it. I'd also like to have a complete Vögele InLine Pave train. I do have a Breining tar spreader from Kaster, but that has been taken apart at the moment for conversion. It will probably be added to a Conrad or WSI truck. One model that's very high on my wishlist is the Sword Mack Granite Etnyre.

Thanks Remko, If I can find one across the pond, I have a Joal Cat Challenger lying around I am thinking of mounting it too. Nice Pacing Collection, looks like you have every Wrigten, Hamm, and Vogele model made.

Remko, Uh........the Wirtgen SP-15 is not a profiler, it is a slip form paver. The component on the bottom of the machine is an auger to move the concrete, it is not a milling drum. http://www.hammcompactors.com/us/products/wirtgen/slipform_pavers/slipform-pavers_VUSG-CONTENT-Products.phpRandy M. But that will be corrected in a few months time. Thanks Randy, I new they were slipform pavers, don't know why I wrote profiler... Anyway, the component on the bottom is both a milling drum and an auger. The milling drum (or more correctly the trimmer) cuts up the existing concrete, and the auger moves it to the side of the machine.

Actually Remko the milling drum/ auger combination is not used to break up concrete but rather to grade the granular material on which the concrete curb is to be placed. The milling drum grades the stone and the auger moves the stone away from the concrete mold/ new curb and towards the middle of the machine.

A couple of new models for my collection. First up, Tekno SWAP trailer. I will convert this to a graveltrailer with supply container and watertank. Next, an idea for the gravel spreader. Small one that is. It's actually a Siku 1/32nd scale lawnmower. But with a new seat and stearing wheel, and perhaps a ROPS it will make a nice 1/50th model. Very important, the sweeper. This is just a small Hako sweeper from Siku, including garbage can. A larger RAVO 5-series has been ordered and is set to arrive this week. I will try to get a Conrad sweeper at the Modellshow Europe March 16th. Liebherr engineer (there he is again) is on his way to empty the garbage can.

Bauma could well see the launch of a new W250i cold milling machine model along with the 1:50th scale 4200SM Surface Miner which is sure to be impressive. Steven Miniature Construction World on FacebookMiniature Construction World on Twittersjd@miniature-construction-world.co.uk

New model for the collection. The Kalmar DCE 160 forklift. Not originally a road construction machine, but I intend to convert it to a Roll-Pave asphalt machine. And with the Siku Linde forklift and a Liebherr mechanic.
