gbarnewall wrote:excellent rig Remko, looks sharp an odd set up with the exhaust stacks Yup, it turned out pretty good!I never noticed those stacks until I saw them on the model and the real truck (which I had never seen in person myself before Thursday). I'll try to make some pictures of my complete fleet of WSI truck-trailer combinations. I don't have as many as some people I know though...

I got my Volvo FH16 660 8x4 from Jager as well this week. And as any truck needs a trailer (or lowloader) I modified my second NZG 5-axle Pendel-X so it could fit the 2-axle WSI Interdolly. This is actually a lowloader they use in real life, and it looks pretty good. I also have another 3-axle Pendel-X (which they also own) so I just have to get a Daf CF 6x4 and I have two Jager set-ups. For the photo I used a decent load, my Liebherr R 954 C demolition machine.

Here are a couple of photo's how I did this. The interdolly is only slightly modified, so it can still be used on the WSI lowloader. The space between the ears of the NZG floor is cut out to make room for the WSI Interdolly. With either the original neck or the interdolly attached, this hole is completely invisible.

Fresh in today, the Volvo EC 460 C & Volvo EW 160 C from NZG. Wonderful models. Very heavy as well!! The EC 460 C weighs in at 630 grams (1.4 lbs), while the EW 160 C tips the scale at 330 grams (0.7 lbs). Both models are very well detailed with realistically done hydraulic hosing. Unfortunately though, the sorting grab on the EW 160 C is, although very detailed, a bit small to my taste, and won't stay open. NZG could have done a better job if they made this the same way as the sorting grab on their Liebherr A 904 C Material Handler. Still, both of them beautiful models. If you'd ask me if they are expensive. No, they just cost a lot of money, but are definately worth it!! Of course, both models will receive a nice set of attachments in the future. No demo's, just buckets. Demo attachments will be for the EC 460 C demo-model. Volvo EC 460 C. Volvo EC 460 C & Volvo EW 160 C. Volvo EW 160 C and (actually based on a real EW 160 C) my custom Liebherr A 316 Special.

I have been searching for a nice big draglinebucket for a few years now, ever since I got a Liebherr LR 1280 to convert into a HS 895 HD. But all the available ones (NZG / Conrad) were to small. I finally found a nice sized one a couple of weeks ago. Believe it or not, this is a "printed" model. Layer upon layer of plastic until you get a beautifully detailed model. On the photo's it's compared to the dragline bucket from the Liebherr HS 855 HD.

Man I have been thinking of converting a 1280 into a 895 myself. I saw a 895 going down the river the other day. Its owned by Tidewater/Skanska for pile driving. Nice crane. Would that converison be hard? I dont have the 1280, but it looks very close to the 895.

The LR 1280 stands out from the other LR-series already (LR 1300 excluded), all Liebherr LR-series up to the 1280/1300 closely resemble the HS-series. The HS 855 for example is basically a LR 1100 with freefall winches. The model actually just needs a different name, and it's done.

I just got these in this morning, three 3-part counterweights for the Conrad Liebherr R 954C. They are very well casted, and fully functional. I plan on using them for my NZG R 954 C specials. The hardest part will be removing the rear of the original body...

I made a pretty good score at Ede yesterday. Here's the list: -Daf CF 6x4 with Bulthuis tipper trailer from WSI Basic Plus -Daf CF 8x4 tipper from WSI Basic Plus -Two sets of WSI Stelcon plates - Three axle Goldhofer lowloader from Tekno -Liebherr 32TT Fast Erection Crane from NZG -Long Goldhofer gooseneck from Zon models -Two tools from Arrow Tech -Four sets of container frames from MOS And... A pontoon from Zapf First, Liebherr 32TT crane. This was on my wishlist for a while, but I just never got around buying it. This was for a very nice price, all new in box. These types of cranes are very popular in Germany, and you'll see dozens of them. Behind my Ocean Traders 8x4 truck. The Ocean Traders truck with Tekno lowloader. Which will most likely be modified into a Broshuis lowloader.

The pontoon. It's very basic, but that's a good thing. I can finish it just the way I like it myself. Underneath. As usual, top quality from Zapf!! And what the pontoon is intended for.

I got a few more models in the past couple of months, nothing special, except for two... Liebherr LR 1300 and Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 I intend to convert them into an LG of some sort. For the LTM boom and upperbody I have another idea.
