Eric, I will add my name to the list of people who will be ordering one or more of those great shears. Anyone know if Mike D is still making parts? Gregg

That is funny you guys say that about Mike d. I talked to him about three weeks ago trying to buy stuff and we had a green light to go and he said he would call me back on some other stuff I was going to buy and he never called me bck or responded to my emails. Mike is a great guy I just wish the best to him and hope he is alright.
Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.

Any interest from LaBounty on this? I'm sure everyone in their offices would buy one as a paperweight. Or mount on a plaque to give as awards , or sell as key chains (small ones), or tun into a shift knob or a lever to open a door. The possibilities are endless...

Actually, Yes, I was approached a few years ago by LaBounty about such a project, but they were not willing to fork out the initial investment costs, (which is funny, because the initial investment was the same as ONE SET of blades for a MSD4500 shear...) and seemed to think that they'd be able to get them for next to nothing, which I'm afraid to say is a bit far fetched. Craig, The first of the shears went in for production on Monday, this will be the MSD9500R-sl for the PC1100 size machines. in discussions with the caster, we decided to go with Brass, rather than white metal, as it will give a much better casting. still no price yet, but getting closer. Eric, What color did you decide for the finished shears? Also, how many units do you plan to have cast in that first run and who gets first chance to purchase? Is it a race to order them Thanks, Gregg
