No idea why the CCM model didn't sell so well. They generally - in spite of their relatively high price - go very fast.
The Nicolas STA45 2-line semi-trailer should be OK, as it was designed to carry battle tanks, up to 45 tonnes in weight (as its acronym implies):



Not much spare capacity left, though!

During approx. 20 years, Colonel Khadafi had in Libya the world largest irrigation network made: the Great Man-Made River Project (also called GMMR Project). It was made of 2000 kilometres of buried concrete pipes network built between 1984 et 1994, with additional 1500km laid in 1990-1996, followed by a third phase between 2002 and 2005. Concrete elements were built in local factories and carried to the various construction locations by numerous MAN/Schmitz combinations.





MAN 40-440 DFA 6x4/2 tractor (modified Conrad model) and 130 tonnes capacity Schmitz-Cargobull semi-trailer made of a 2-line heavy duty bed linked to 1-line front dolly (Conrad model), loaded with a 73 tonnes Al Nahr Co concrete pipe segment (homemade).

Guy those scratch built trailers are great does Jean-Francois ever run out of ideas for what to build or does he have a list. Also could you explain about the concrete pipe segment. I really like how you coated the inside to make it look like cement, great job.

Jean-Francois does not build a lot of model per year but, I agree with you, most (if not all) of them are wonderful.
The bulk cement trailer started from an old picture of a local transport company he found on a website.

In terms of concrete pipe, this piece was built with 2 sections of pipe made of cardboard paper, the smaller one being inserted into the larger. I agree with you, once painted, it looks like concrete. I just had to add a red elastic rubber band (to model the joint) and some homemade decals, using GMMR Project lettering found on the web.
