Brian, I initially thought that that it was an (RH400 / 6090 on the left and a RH340 / 6060 on the right) however upon further looking, I believe that it is twin 6060's. The cab / ventilation on the left machine (as well as on the right hand side machine) matches the RH340 design. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

Yes, I know what you mean.Would really like to see a shot of the 6090 FS working..... can anyone over east help? I would really love to know the reasoning behind the "all white" Cat hydraulic mining excavators(in shovel and backhoe config.) that are being purchased by all the big companies and contractors in Oz. So far,I am aware of at least 14 units(6030's,6060's and 6090 FS) that are custom painted white. Don't they like yellow and black?
Why not have black cabs and cylinders(with yellow rails) on the white ones for a "less boring" look!! Just my opinion.... I never paid for them after all!

On the left is the 6090. As I said I posted the better of the 2 pics and in the other it clearly displays 6090 badges, I wasn't sure what model the other one was.

Cheers Rob, they are quite similar and it's hard to tell with my rubbish eyes. If your dad is able to get more pictures, that would be great. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

Cheers Rob! Looking forward to more shots. I have to agree Brian, I'm not a fan of the shovels in white. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

That is correct, there is a bunch of transitional machines and i guess mines buy them for there functionality more so than looks. Hastings have delivered white machines into QLD also and Downers at Boggabri have white 6060 to load the 930,s they have bought. There has been a bunch of yellow ones go to work in the west and there is still many more due for delivery into AU so the white should start to slow up from now and they will then be the right colour after that. Flame away The 6050 shovel going out Mudgee way will be yellow.

Great pics Gavin. Although these pics would be better if there was cookie action involved.

Awesome to see a 6090 in CAT colours! Always wondered how it would look like. Shame there are no mines big enough for a 6090 here in Sweden. Oh well, the 6060 will have to do I guess...
