That's an unusual blade for a 700. Most have pat bade never seen one with an outside frame blade. Usfs here in northern az loves the 700s there a good size for a fire dozer. Why do they put plows on there fire dozer back there?

I went out the the shopping center job on Friday and got some photos of some of the equipment in action, I talked to the guy I know, he says he is one of two sub contractors and that he will be on site for three more months.
They got the permits needed to start clearing some more of the land.

Rental Deere 8420 with 15yd pan, the pan had a cylinder go out so there was someone working on it.



The guy I know owns these pans, an 8410 and 8400, the 8400 was the one that was broken down recently, it had an issue with the axle, they are both pulling 1510C pans.

I have been told they don't use a six way blade to save money, and they custom build there own blade like the one welded onto the C frame. There older dozer, was a 650G I think, and it did have a six blade.

Here are some photos I took the other day of some older and some large machines, these machines are all owned by a guy who uses/used them to dig ponds to grow catfish in, he does a lot of the work on the ponds in the fall when it is cooler since his equipment doesn't have AC. As far as I know he owns the largest dozers, scraper, excavator, and track loader in my county.

Now onto the dozers I came out to see, i only have photos of three of them, but He owns four!! two have 17 foot U blades, the other two have 22 foot U blades.

This one is having some work done on the UC so the blade is in-front of it.






He hasn't put these two together since he bought them, they used to be used on a Coal stock pile at a power plant.
These do have cabs sitting somewhere else on his land with the other weights/rippers and blades, and the 22 foot blades belong to these.



And the one I didnt take photos of had a transmission issue.
Next up is a Hancock 292 scraper.



This was originally sold by Linder in Florida, who now sells Komatsu machines in NC, I don't think they had a location here until more recently.

Now this right here was a pleasant surprise, I didn't know that he owned this until he showed it too me.

They rented a hammer and decided to use it on there Bobcat 763, It used to be a rental and has solid tires.
