Guy those are two nice models, they were around along time before compact equipment became popular. Thanks for the pictures. Steve

Exkvate3140 wrote:Guy great pictures, I have to get me one of those Renault conventional trucks. That Volvo water truck came out out very nice is that body brass or styrene? Thanks Steve Hello Steve, I've got a response from Jean-Francois, which is as follows " it's plastic (taken from a shop lighting sign) cut to size and stacked on multiple layers on a form (2 metallic wires fixed on a base). [...] Then a lot of grouting and sanding to get the final look". I realized that "styrene" is what we call in France "plastic" (we all use Evergreen styrene sheets) and is not the foam polystyrene we may use for dioramas. So in fact JF uses "styrene" (plastic) to build his tipping semi-trailers, for example. I hope it helps. Just

Guy thanks very much for the information. That being styrene he used, he did a fantastic job shaping and sanding it. Styrene is all I use when I do my customs, I just can’t solder to save my life. Steve

Guy nice details on the Tekno model with the tanks and hand cart. That color combo on the Volvo, Talbert and Poclain looks like it was replicated from an actual site work company. Thanks Steve

Guy that Mack tanker looks great along with the Iveco conventional under the dump trailer very nice. The Iveco almost reminds me of your yellow Renault conventionals. Steve
