The proper history is the Gottwald went into bankruptcy as their engineering prowess exceed their sales successses. The telescopic boom product designs were sold to Krupp, now part of Gove within the Manitowoc Crane Group. The latice boom product and design was sold to Demag. The port crane business continues under the original Gottwald name and I am unsure of the ownership. It may well have been sold as well, but it kept its identity.

This is my latest model I built during the last months, some of you may know it as TC3600 or Quicklifter or Gottwald AK 630, however it is a Gottwald originally so its place is correct in this thread. As at the moment I cannot do any paint job, I'm showing some pictures of the unpainted prototype. I'm going to build now a small series of this model and soon it will be presented at the HTM-Webshop.
