It's a field follow prototype, they typically don't decorate them to help keep some anonymity.

The photos honestly don't do it justice. While the engine house makes it a lot taller and beefier looking, that isn't a bad thing. From what I've heard it's very fast and smooth to run.

Judging by the size of the bucket on a long stick machine (that says 74" 4.04 cubic yard), I have to assume the ME's will have bigger buckets too.

regards,
Jim

thanks for the link Jan,that design is really growing on me,

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

I have to agree! That's definitely a ME stick and it looks tough!

Yeah thanks for the link, I still think that they [349], like the 345's look (and imo feel) better with the variable gauge track frames..

Jim
