yeah I have only put a set on my Bracht 112 not yet the mammoet version,I had a small valve block come off fairly easily but I know now the level of ham-fistedness you can get away with so no more issues,i must get a set to try the new spanner, the old spanner you could break by giving it a good hard look, very flimsy but the cylinders are very crisply made,i had 50% of my 2.8KG loco hanginf from them for hours and they seemed to hold, although not at a severe angle,I also had the heavy head on and the top sections removed to lighten her up
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?
... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt
The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

very nice Paul.... i wish i had the guts to do 50% sections with my 112s.... would be nice to display them that way, what did you use to hold the sections in place after you drilled the holes? and did you drill on both sides or just one?
maybe some pictures of the holes and what you used possibly?

Nice pics paul, its hard to believe that this time last year we were all anticipating getting our hands on the mammoet 112.. Now less than a year on it seems like this version was released ages and ages ago with all the liveries that have come out since then! 8 or 9 versions in less than 12 months is incredible.

Zach, The original spring clip holder thingy's hold it in place. I drilled holes and then filed them out to make them square. There was a post on Hansebube with a link to Boumachine FORUM that showed the correct measurements: link.It has taken me weeks to get the guts to do it! But now I have, I think it looks quite good and opens up a few more possibilities for posing. Paul R

oh i understand now, i thought these holes were drilled the same way the holes are drilled on the side of the boom like the LTM 1800, thanks for the link.

I know what you mean. I was reading through some 112 threads on the other forums with all the build up to the model being released and then it finally being here. Does seem a while back for sure and as you say, 9 versions later! And probably with more to come Paul R

Super pics Paul!, this one is sooo tempting as I have a Grohmann AC 100 that it would go nicely with but I already have three LTM 11200's, decisions decisions Stephen

So want one of these Grohmann 11200. Hopefully early next year.
As Mammoet says "SIZE DOES MATTER". Slowly collecting Mammoet 1:50 scale stuff. Mainly cranes!

nice pictures Paul, i have my Mediaco and Eisele 112s being shipped from Germany as im typing this, i will be building a better table for my models this weekend hopefully that is in a better spot with better lighting and get my models setup better, will try and take some pictures.
for some reason i can never get the heavy lift heads to fit on my cranes properly so i just put the windmill jib on all of them
