Hello all

After a long time ( nearly 3 years ) this thread was "sleeping" and now I will wake it up !!
Last summer I have finished the model after over 2000 hours of work in nearly 8 years and I will show you some pics of it. I hope the pics will enjoy you !!

If you are interested I can post some other pics with a lot of details.

Regards, Manfred

Manfred,
That looks incredible! I for one would love to see more pictures, especially of the building. I'm sure many others would also.

Hello Paul

While the building this model I haven`t make a lot of pics.
The model is not finished yet. At the moment I have "only" built the first 70 meters of the original - mashine who is nearly 450 meters long, so the model ( if I would build all parts of it ) would be over 9 meters long !!!
But for the moment I have stopped the construction of this model because I will start with a new TBM - model - project. It will be a TBM from Herrenknecht with a diameter of nearly 12 meters and it was used for a highway - tunnel ( Islisbergtunnel ) near zurich here in switzerland. The model will be in scale 1:50 like this one.
Some pics of the original - mashine I have attached.
In the next days I will post some other and detailled pics from the Gotthard - model.
For the new model - project I will open a new thread here if I was ready with pics.
So here the original - pics from the next project :

Regards

Manfred

Absolutely mindblowing. Thanks for sharing your talent with the forum once again. Some of the best modelling I've seen ever.

Superb modelling. I'd love to see some photos of the model being built, too.

Manfred, you are a credit to the scratch building hobby. Your dedication and enthusiasm for your model work is second to none !!!! Very well done!!!
