Time to start saving that P&H looks real nice,I'm sure its going to carry a price tag to match its size.

Just a word of caution before everyone gets too excited, the models displayed at MINExpo are only hand samples and so far, to my knowledge there is no decision to manufacture production models. I suspect the P&H 4100XPC is likely to be produced in the future but it is not a definite.

The L1850 with clam bucket and 495HR with Hydrocrowd are for demonstration only and are unlikely to ever appear as production models.

The P&H4100XPC and P&H 206B are hand samples from TWH

Yeah I thought I had heard that TWH was producing the 4100XPC in 1:50 a little while back.

the P&H 4100 looks great. maybe this time they could announce the Syncrude version right away? that would make things a lot easier for all collectors. don´t worry TWH, you´ll sell the regular coloured models as well!

There are some more photos on Cranes Etc.

The interesting news is that the Bucyrus 8750 Dragline is going into production and is scheduled to appear Q2 2009.

I would be interested in the smaller P&H shovel if it ever makes it to the die cast market and if it priced within reason . I really like the historical models too bad their is not more on the market.

Great photos posted/linked here....very exciting, but where's a pic or two of the Towhaul?

I really want to see this thing. I'm curious if the tractor will be in Cat yellow or white or whatever
.

**Mike,
Don't know if you knew this already, but Specast will have the Bantam shovel coming in 1/50 soon.
I really wish that the EMD TWH Bucyrus22 shovel wasn't going to be so much......nearly (nearly) $200.00 is pretty steep.

Boy I hope TWH does that XPC in 1:50th! I'm tired of all the 1:87th's. Time to release that model in 1:50th. Although I am very excited about this, I have to agree with SJDownes. The model isn't definate yet and may not appear on the retail market for a few years. I'll wait until this becomes more definate before I start saving.

TWH and P&H MUST make the 4100XPC in 1:50 scale. It would be a fantastic model to have in any mining collection. They have already spent a large amount of money developing this prototype. Why wouldn't you build in production? Please TWH make this model!

Not much chance of them announcing a Syncrude version of the 4100XPC since Syncrude has none and never will.

Hi Chris Yes I have heard that SpeCast is releasing these .I have them in 1/25th/scale already all three versions hoe drag and shovel very good models .I contacted the fellow at SpeCast to tell himhow much I liked them .I mentioned the idea of some BE models being made .His reply to this is they have been trying to cut a deal with BE for some time and they were a tough sell on the deal but that SpeCast would keep trying .I agree with you on the price of the 22 as being steep should be more in the 100.00 $ range . I wiil probably get it in the not to distant future . Really like the big minning shovel models but they are way to steeply priced for me .Cheers

I have a good contact at TWH so I am going to investigate what is happening with this model. I am sure they would not have gone to all this trouble not to produce the finished product!
