Finally a blasthole drill in 1:50 scale(I know the Bucyrus 49HR came first but it is too big for my liking). Now I will be very much looking forward to this model.

I'am not a drill guy but that model looks real good . If it is made by Norscot it should be decently priced. I must say that the little P&H shovel model has peeked my curiosity.

Same here, mining models are not my 'thing' any more, but this little bugger will surely find it's way into my collection!

i like the small shovel too. we need more of those. the clam bucket on the loader is neat. it was cutting edge when drott invented it 60 years ago. brian

The Pit Viper kind of is a Cat model - most of them have Cat powerplants.

Wait until you see it to decide it is a nice model. A very large portion of it is plastic, and to be honest, it really does look pretty cheap. The detail seems to be alright, but it needs a full repaint to hide the plastic parts. The next model in the series is going to be all metal I was told.

Thats right Brian Cat did not invent everything when it comes to earthmovers .Even if popular mythology says they did . I like you would like to see more of the historical models . I;am finding collecting boring as all the modern day machines/models look very similar just different paint jobs and decals. Cheers Mike

And probably a lot of money .Check out the price Norsot is asking for the 797f . All I can say is good luck .My opinion all the mining truck models are over priced for what they do and the actual detailing that goes into them.Front wheels steer and the box goes up and down whooppee. Cheers
