Probably this Van der Tol Liebherr....
You'll see why in my second and third photos.

It was at the Utrecht (NL) mack and Heavy Transport day in 2007 where VdTol were offering rides in the man-basket.

Great post, but a very hard one to answer. Hmm, well let's see...

For a ringer it would be:

Manitowoc 4600 (S3).

Manitowoc 4600 (S4).

For a crawler it would be:

A Terex|Demag CC8800/8800-1/9600 or a...

Terex|Demag CC2500-1.

Terex|Demag CC2800-1.

Liebherr LR1600/2.

Manitowoc 16000.

For a mobile it would be:

Grove GMK7550 (But once I come across the Liebherr LTM11200-9.1 or Terex|Demag AC1000/9 I am sure this choice will change).

For just plain uniqueness it would be:

Deep South Crane and Rigging's VersaCrane (TC28000 shown).

Jake's Crane, Rigging and Transport's SL400 "Crystal May".

But then when you really think about it, they are all nice in their own specific ways.

Chris - That SL 400 is certainly an unusual looking beast. What is the story there?
And I forgot about the VersaCranes - good call.

I like the Kynningsrud CC2800-1. Really nice colors and biggest crane I have been up close in real life.

Havator also is a nice livery, their CC6800 is really nice looking. Although havent seeen any Havator stuff IRL.

I asked the same question to, when I seen him, he says they only put them on the crane for lifting, because of some reson I caint remember.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned an American 11320. Maybe it's one of Tim T's favorites?!?

huh...That is the model of crane that the company I worked for one summer leased on a spud barge to install the new lock doors at the Pinopolis Dam about 10 years ago.....Salmons Dredging was the company, and they did the work for Santee Cooper.
