What the heck is that trailer, looks like an awesome trailer, is it width adjustable. Cracking looking model, it's about time we had a few trucks from down under. Applause

The manufacturer is not Norscot.

Renaultman,

The Trailer is manufactured by Drake Trailers Australia. It is known as a 4 x 8 [4 axles / 8 tyres per axle] Swing Wing which mean is widens out.

It will come with a 2 x 8 Dolly which also widens.

hey thats a great looking truck I can see a Roadtrain in disguise there, now the maker I dont think is from norscot looks very detailed for a Norscot but who knows Norscots are more cheaper .,and also if thats in australia who is going to sell,it here in America

Hello,

for myself I wish it would be WSI, TWH or Sword-Model as manufacturer.
Hopefully in 1/50 scale.

Best regards

The Kenworth T908, Drake 2 x 8 Dolly with 4 x 8 Swing Wing Trailer will be manufactured by TWH.

The model is specked heavily on a Queensland based company - North Queensland Heavy Haulage
which comprises N Q Heavy Haulage, Brisbane Lift and Shift and Rocklea Carrying.

The company is also known as the N Q Group and is privately owned.

The model will also be available in the livery of several prominent Australian Companies so keep an eye out.

Yes, Road Trains and other Australian Models are sure to follow.

Well I gotta have one because it says Kenworth. However, could I spec a 2010 delivery, as funds are beyond tight now with all the new models coming out!! G

It has been a long time coming, someone finally making a decent Aussie heavy haulage float. Would look sweet with my D11T sitting on the back, now we need some to make a platform and a PC1250

Gents,

Thanks, Sandra and I did put a fair bit of effort into getting this project off the ground, however Drake Trailers and TWH are to be commended for proceeding with the project to the prototype stage.

Mick,

Not sure on number of liveries at this stage, however keep an eye on our website [and DHS of course] for further particulars.

tomsy,

You may not have to hold your breath too long for a Drake Platform Trailer and some Push Pull Trucks to appear.

Gd10r,

Wallet shouldn't get too thin this side of Christmas, 2009 for these pieces.
