Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... just read on the 11200 specs brochure,the t7y jib weights 104ton!!!!!!!!!

Just wondering has anyone noticed that people are putting the handrails on the top deck back to front on the 1/50 as to the 1/1 in real life,cheers all,Steve.

Finally get to add my own  Just some quick shots as the sun was going down fast! These are straight out of the box. Hope to take a few more tomorrow before I head to the US on Friday.        First impressions are very positive and it is a great model. Haven't had the chance to scrutinize it too heavily yet but there appears not to be too much to complain about, but I do have to say I don't care for the plastic hydraulic rams for the boom. But I believe there will soon be an option  Boom transporter is also a nice piece, though as has already been said, may be a Merc with an 8 axle trailer would have been nice. Mammoet vans are also new to me. Pricey but nice. Thanks for looking, Paul R

YCC does have cylinders listed on their site for the LTM 11200.

Nice posts all, while I don't like the plastic much myself the weight of the boom assembly makes the standard (small) set screw in brass not acceptable to me. I like the pins just fine, if someone were to machine the ram assembly out of metal I would buy it, just that typical set screw deal is not going to work, I would still want the pins regardless of the ram material.

Mark You probably have a point because the weight of the boom is quite incredible. I will wait to see what YCC (and others) come up with. Paul R

Sarens looks nice,too.  Model and photo are from Martin (Börge) from the german Bauforum24. The boom is not painted yet for he ran out of blue colour over the christmas holidays. Jan

I just don't understand how these people are getting these models repainted so quickly. It would take me weeks to do one.
Definitely kudos to the ones I have seen so far. They have all been great jobs.
