Seems a logical choice to me (Clarmont) with coaling due to start next year (2010).

50% is to be overland conveyor, but there is something very logical about marrying the XPC to the 960e for optimum fill.

Yes... but Rio Tinto' 4100XPC at Clermont Coal is numbered "SH001", not something like "14" and the dumpers are numbered 1##, not 7##... That suggested me this is not Clermont but a newer mine. What is more, Clermont' XPC already has a year of active duty (if I remind correctly) that is not the case for the brand new 4100XPC in the latest pictures !

Junior 1, can you tell us more about the mine site please ?

Gents,

The pictures are of the first [1st] Komatsu 960E-1 Dump Truck in Australia which was put to work at Hail Creek Mine - North Queensland.

The Komatsu 930E Dump Truck, the subject of this post is now working at Clermont Coal.

Hope this helps clear things up???
