There was an example of these at TWH when we were there back in September. I was on the fence when they were first announced, but after seeing one...there is now a space in my cabinet.

To answer a coupe of the questions above:

The blue one is a replica of McAllease transpot that operates in Queensland.

All models are available worldwide and I believ that they are listed here on DHS.

I got mine directly through Drake Trailers as i wanted to support this great company by buying a replica of their great product!!

These have go to me the best truck models I have seen!!

McAleese are based in Queensland ...head office is Mackay...

Here are some pics from their own web site for you to get some transport ideas when you get their trailer..

i think i will have to go for the macaleese one good old irish name
according to google . the macaleese family emigrated to nova scotia, us ,canada and scotland
and australia so it will have to be this one providing they are still available, as i was saying to a fellow member earlier on these are simply just stunning models and the price is nice for such an extremely detailed modelSmile

I read on cranesetc.co.uk/ that the Drake model would not be available till March of 2010..
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

Christian, the T908 is owned by Andrew Creswick the operator of Abbsolute Transport and Logistics in Sydney, NSW- This pic looks a lot like the one I took at the 2009 Qld. Truck Show in BrisbaneTeethI dont think they operate a website but the truck and its paint job/ specifications etc is covered (with some good pics) in Issue 9 (current issue) of Kenworth Down Under magazine which is a twice annual publication in Oz....check out the their website as you can order back issues etc from here.
Cheers

Miniature Construction World is reporting that these will be delayed a bit and will ship from the factory at the end of January (arriving at the dealers in early to mid March).
