Awsome move. It looks like they are doing a lot of reconfiguring with the equipment. If you notice in some of the videos, they have a 4 filed system under the beams, in other videos, they have "spread" single files with the outriggers and HMDs. Very cool, looks like too much work LOL.
Thanks for posting Tim!

Great shots of a very impressive move. That beam trailer looks strangly familar. Is it the same as the one Trail King made for Savage in 1996 to move the autoclave to Twin Creek Mine in Nevada? everything looks identical except for only having one mid section. Thanks, Larry

I don't know if its the exact trailer, Trail King built a couple big trailers of that size, one is operated by Beyel Brothers Crane and Rigging in Florida, Its an 800 ton trailer. Last I knew Intermountain Rigging and HH was the owner of that first huge trailer after they merged with Savage Industries HH division. Marino might have purchased that big trailer also, and then it became Mammoet property.. Anyone know for sure.. the history is vague for me.

Given the colour and the trucks from up this way tending to it, it almost looks like they bought a trailer, or bits and pieces of one, from Premay.

Thanks for posting. I thought it was the Savage one when I first saw it. I've not double checked but the logo has been painted out - it's in a similar position to the Savage logo in the photo.

I'm with Bob....Nice looking prime movers. I like that Western Star. Some 1/50 tractors like that should be contemplated by TWH or Sword. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Elis-Hobby-Diecast/803248369690387?ref=hl

That Move is just Astounding! I do wonder though, how many different trailer set ups have you used? i've seen at least two, in the videos and pictures...

Any more pics of the unit on the right in this pic? Looks like a beefy one. We rally round the family, with a pocket full of shells.....

There's one more pic of that unit in this thread. The second pic, on the left.

The C-500B is the heavy unit you see, as Brian says, its the one on the left in second pic. I have lots more pics of them, they own quite a few of them, C-500 500B's and 520's. Used for on/off highway moves. Brian most likely has seen them many dozens of times in the Fort McMurray area operations. They have moved lots of big iron with them. I think this is the exact unit, it was based in Texas I think, Might have been bought right after they took over Davenport's operations. Mammoet has bases all over the US and Canada now. Coast to Coast. They realy have grown huge here in the USA.This pic is from Obele Deelstra's site http://www.heavytransport.nl/
