Erlog productions is starting a new big project. Tha manufacturing of a scale model of the Terex-Demag CC8800-1 Twin in scale 1:50. When the prototype is done the model will be released for sale to the public. When released the customer can order one, but he/she must determine the colors he/she would like it in. This will be a costum model and will NOT be in a limited run. The boom configuration of the model will be SSL with 117 meters of main boom (1:50 ~ 2.34 meters). Afterwards Erlog productions will make an SWSL attachment with 117 meters of boom too (1:50 ~ 2.34 meters).

That's just a one off prototype and not a production diecast model, isn't it? Anyway I think the CC8800 twin would be very cool indeed. Keep us updated on the progress.

The Twh 31000 was just a prototype to unveil manitowocs new product. I talked to John at Twh about making a 31000 model and he said they might but if they did it was going to be a few years. So my fingers are crossed

We all hope for a model of the 31000 too, its one my favourite cranes too. The model was once announced here with a price of 2000-3000 usd, but it is no longer there.

The Demag CC8800-1 Twin yeah. Its a project I recently started. Originaly it was for me the model, but I thought it would be best if I sold it to the public.

Im still in the drawings, so I could post pictures of the drawings.
I am thinking of making it of steel. First I will make a prototype of the prototype, then the protoype and then the final one. I just started a couple of days before, so i am thinking of like 6 months for the first one.
