I vote you the most insane person on the forum. Sure we all collect models and some customize, but to build cranes out of lego that are colossal in scale and be very accurate and functional. I bet when you bake cookies they are 5 feet in diameter!!! My hat is off to you!!!

That is aussome, i wish i had half the tallent to make a crane like that out of lego and lego technic, Now for the big question
how many bits in the crane?
and how many hours to build?

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I am very glad that you all can appreciate the amount of time and labor that goes into building a model like this (tho most of you dont know the limitations and constraints of Lego  ) I will get some good pictures of it at the open house and post them....It is way more impressive when there are not couches and other sorts of stuff all around it subtracting from the overall appearance... -Alvin.

Wow nice LEGOs Your wife seems VERY Patient sitting there.  I've been wondering how  I'll be able to walk my dragline into my basement someday without my wife bitching about it.
