thanks for the links jack
Im pretty sure the Enercon crane is a Demag judging by the "head wheels" along the boom. Usually liebherr have a boom dolly whi"ch stays on the ground.
Great Find
Always a shame to see any piece of engineering end up in a heap like this. I was with the Weldex machine in south wales last week and that was a complete write off. Very very scarey that the operator wasnt injured in that one.
in memory of Biscuit. dearly loved RIP 28.10.08

Cheers Marcus, i did put i want sure weather it was an old demag cab or liebherr, but i bit the dust and changed it to liebherr due to the article saying 750 tonner! I know what you mean not nice to see anything mangled up like that! Was you with the weldex crane to recover it? Heavy Cranes

Yeah that is a older demag 2800, you can tell from the undercarriage. Now it is a big pile of scrap metal. Jason NIkl Scale Models

Ouch, that will ruin your day! Atleast the AC didn't go over. As for the Weldex LR1300, there are few photos of the unit on it's side floating around. - Chris

Apart from the obvious (its on its side!!!) any one notice some thing unusual about the LR1300?
Weldex picked it up with one of its own cranes this week but it is a write off! We have a LTM1500 there at the moment doing to turbines this was scheduled to do, its been there for almost a month. I believe a LTM11200 is due in there soon. Was that why you where on site Jibtickler?
