decided i should post this in a new topic so everyone will see it, instead of in my collections thread.

well guys, guess i got you all worried haha
i just took one of the tele sections out of the boom to make sure if they were plastic or not after seeing Rick B get his mammoet version and he said his are metal.
after further investigation, the sections are metal, but its very very thin, not diecast, more like aluminum. thats why they felt weird and the model didnt have weight to it, but it does have plastic locking clips

d'oh! sorry guys, early april fools Teeth

incredible pictures Rick! now thats what i like to see, a crane that has enough weight to not tip over with the boom extended that far out at that low of an angle, and cylinder(s) strong enough to not allow it to slip down and hold the angle, thats impressive!

Really good looking model. Does anyone know the real license plate number of this crane from Alberta Canada? This model comes with a German license plate Think Sad

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

Does the Mammoet 1350 model come with a jib like the Liebherr version?

cranboyrick,

Actually I noticed the pendants, however, I would be curious to know why you felt the need to replace several rivets with a threaded fastner.

Thanks!

So is it safe to assume that WSI failed to include the pins with the model?

Receive it today.

There is a problem with the Y guy pendant lines. It is a little too long.

But I see Rick B.'s pictures, seems like the pendants lines numbers are the same.

Also, the Y guy is fairly loose.

Anyone can help?

same as mine, the pendants seem too long to me but if you take out the shortest strap, its perfect. with the strap added, it makes the arms pull too far up when tightened and the cylinders starting bending.

yea, with the original ones tightened, it's more than 90 degree.

the shortest one you mean the one near the Y guy or the one connected with screw?
