Hi CBRN,
The big Euclid was made in the past by SMITH at 1/48 , you think will be clients he can buy once again same model in resin at 1/50 ?
The second model of Euclid is R-45 ????
Dan

The haul truck behind the Western 80 is most likely a Euc 1LLD, R-50

Yes, they are both R-50's.
That is the early version of the Western 80. It was upgraded engine wise with the later version having 4 exhaust pipes out of the hood.

The truck been loaded by the Shovel I would think is a newer Euclid in the R40 -R45 ton capacity. The shovel is a Manitowoc 4600 with 6yd bucket.

Hello Dan,

Here is my opinion regarding the Western 80 Euclid:
I would buy a second model if your model will be different from the Smith ones, i.e. four exhaust pipes like the later version of the Western 80.
Another item will be the price which should be a bit cheaper than the Smith model.
The same is with the Euclid R50 and R62.
Especially I would like to see the R62 as prime mover and perhaps with additional low boy.

Best regards

Peter and his brother

The finished Mack LMSW looks very nice. Is there an option for different wheels?
