So here I am with this completed project. I messed the first paint so I started over again (which is no uncommon as I can be bit of a perfectionnist at a time, but looking on this forum, I am not the only one!). They're all steel with epoxy for the "welding" job. I made them in the same proportions than the real ones pictured above and I must admit I really like the fact that they allow for multiple combinations with the stock WSI SPMT modules. A very special thanks to Brett G for some relevant information, and to Paul with his very first post that inspired me. That't the cool thing about specialized forums; you look like you are doing you stuff alone in your basement, but you are never alone through the web... Different configurations: "/> "/> "/> "/> "/> Here with a partially completed project: All copper welded reactor. Still need to add details and paint: "/> Uh oh! My operator must had been drunk that day (no, this is not commander John Koenig wearing a Mammoet suit). Flashback!!! Tells you a lot about my age... "/> Through my diorama... "/>

That looks excellent! I also like the spreader beams you've made.

Paul R Thanks Paul. Yeah, those spreaders are auxilaries but I intend to build a main one for my LR1750, looking just like this original (but will make an extendable version so it can be suitable for different loads): "/>

Really like the custom beam spacers! The paint and decals are very sharp and I also like your spreader bars!

Jeff Got the decals from decalbooth.com, some UK folks who are printing white decals. Just need to send him a temlate and they will do whatever. These are not cheap, but worth the quality. Just make sure you don't rub the printed side of the decals when manipulating them, as they are very easy to mess-up. SJ

Thanks everybody. Yep indeed I will have more "unusual" stuff to show eventually. I have a couple of projects near completion.
