Great job as usual but can I add just one criticism that everyone forgets to do to their HH trailer? I want to say that on the neck of the lowboy that it should flip out, almost an extension of it to reach the jeep and then it folds back when hooked up to the fifth wheel on the truck itself.

I have only seen one person build it right and that was I believe Clifton on here, he did an amazing 2x3x2 setup.

Again, just my opinion!

I've seen clifton's it's a sweet set up. I didn't add the flip part because its really hard to get piece to bond/glue to the metal and then be able to hold the weight. I would end up having to build the whole neck from scratch so I could integrate tabs to make the piece be like it is on the real deal. I'm having the same problem in the back because the stinger would actually be pinned on the back and be removable. I'm a stickler for details so your criticism is always welcome Cool

Ok so my wife was out of town for the weekend so I got to do WHATEVER I wanted! Lol Teeth So after I did my chores lol, I start busting out some customer projects and building myself some stuff too Cool. I have got a lot done so I'm gonna share some stuff with you guys.

We'll start with the customer stuff first:

This is a thumb that was built for a cat 336d

This is a cat d6r with a pin on root rake and a ROPS.

Now on to my stuff!

This is my custom pete 379. I got rid of the drop axle, and the fenders and added a bunch of chrome, new exhaust, New fenders and a palfinger crane.

I have been getting a lot of requests for welders. So I decided to whip up a quick reference one last night. It's a little crooked but it's not going to a customer and I'm just gonna use it for reference to build more.

Some ladder racks I made for my dcp pickup

This is an extend a stick. It's scale to 20'

As always guys if you have any questions or need anything built send me an email to the email address below. Thanks guys!

Lee

Hey guys! I built myself a truck on Father's Day, on with the pics Cool

The paint looks like it has texture in the pictures but its the pearl in the paint that gives it the affect.

Hey guys long time no post, I have been super busy at my normal job. I've finished a few things and wanted to share.

First is my kenworth t800 (former flying j) did a repaint, put some first gear wheet and tires on it, stacks, lights, and some chrome.

I finished up my beam trailer and jeep with some paint, decals, and some small details.

As always thanks guys! And if you have any questions shoot me an email to the address below Teeth

I'd like to see pics of the red Lego crane in the background, if you don't mind.

Is it custom, or an older kit?

I don't mind at all Teeth . That's just my smaller crane. It's set up with a really small boom right now but I have had it set up with a longer main boom and jib. It's a custom that I built myself. I have been into Legos since I was 4 & I'm 30 now lol. Me and my 4 year old son spend hours building and destroying!

And this is my big crane. It can be configured in a lot of different ways. It's sitting at 5 feet 6 inches in these pictures.

As always thanks for looking!

Wow, cool projects, thanks for showing. Looking great.

That's one interresting basement, with all the RC trucks too... Cool

I too started such project using the regular Technics bricks 2 years ago. I did a boom section and the tracks, but I tend to do massive stuff and as you know, Lego bricks have their limitations. I then gave up with the custom projects and I just go by plans for now on. Maybe as my son grows older and gets an interest, I may go back to custom lego projects. But right now I am too busy with the hobby and I am getting more serious about weathering (railroad stuff), but still kitbashing too at times. Your arm extension project is a great idea by the way. Please post once painted and added the hoses. Applause

I should weather a lego project with water based paints one day, just for the laughs Whatever
